We would like it if {when} someone says to you, “What did you learn from Abraham? What are you going to do differently?”… youd say, “I have no idea what Im going to do differently. When I said, ‘Should I go here or here?’, Abraham said, ‘Your choice.’ When I said, ‘Should I eat this or eat this?’, Abraham wouldnt say this was better than this or that was better than that.”
So they would say, “Well, what did you come away from there knowing?”, {and} wed like you to say, and mean, “I came away knowing that all is well. I came away knowing that I dont have to nitpick over this stuff. I came away knowing that Im going to thrive no matter what.
“I came away knowing that I have value and that life is supposed to fun. I came away knowing that thats what its all about. I came away knowing that Im making far too much about far too much.
“I came away knowing that Im already worthy and I dont have to prove it. And that Im already of value and I dont have to prove it. And that Im not any more right than somebody else is right and theyre not any more wrong than somebody else is wrong. I came away knowing that the mix is all of value and I came away loving all of them for all of their opinions and all of them for all of their interests and all of their desires. I love all of them and what theyre doing. I love all of them. I love the holders of the bombs and… I love all of them. I love knowing that theyre doing the best that they know how to do, and I love knowing that I dont have to get involved and that my involvement wont change anything very much anyway. I came away knowing that I dont have to hold myself in a place of pinching myself off from my well-being in order to make the world a better place and that in fact that will not make the world a better place.
“I came away knowing that its all right for me to be selfish and that its perfect that I want to feel good and that its natural that I do feel good and that it is possible that I can feel good. I came away knowing that I can choose thoughts that feel good and I came away determined that I was going to do that. I came away from that Abraham gathering on the Art of Allowing determined that I was going to find thoughts, words and deeds that feel good when I contemplate them and Im going to let the action take care of itself.”
Thats what we hope for you.
