Q: Is there a nonphysical being attached to each, say, sperm and egg or…?
Abe: No.
Q: No.
Abe: There’s a stream of consciousness that is looking for opportunity to express in a physical environment, but there are endless outlets.
Q: So that all happens kind of more when the baby’s about to be born?
Abe: We want to find a way to help you to understand that this magnificent leading-edge experience that you are living here on this planet didn’t just happen. It is creation, it is projection of thought and improved idea upon improved idea upon improved idea. So, there is so much that is involved in the way your water moves or in the way your food grows, or the way the perpetuation of your species continues to be. In other words, this is long-time planning and execution. This is co-creation at its very, very best.
So, everything that happens, happens because there are endless end-points of consciousness that are selfishly - meaning what’s best for me’ as this end-point of consciousness - summoning Source. So the cells in your body are selfishly summoning, and the microbes in the dirt are selfishly summoning. Everything that exists is selfishly summoning, and as everything in its perfection and in its worthiness is selfishly summoning and allowing, then this magnificent expansion continues, you see.
There is so much about this experience that you don’t spend any time talking about we rarely have anyone sit here and say, “Please explain what really keeps the Earth spinning.” Or “Please explain the existence of the sun and who thought of it and how it works.” There is just so much that you accept as the result of what has come before and of what now is, and as you — or the one-celled amoeba — move around in that experience, having your personal preference be born out of your experience, then you summon forth the ability and the power and whatever is necessary in order to make it so.
So as a sperm exists, it has an identity of its own, it has a purpose of its own, it has a reason of its own and, not different from the squirrel that we talked about earlier, it is inspired from the broader perspective for the good of the whole. So, yes, it has consciousness and yes, it has association with that which is energy, just like the microbes do. But as you try to wrap your thoughts of creation around things like that you really get lost because you cannot begin to understand the intent of the sperm or the intent of the microbe. You can’t step back into that vantage point to understand it. So it’s easier to talk to you about the squirrel. (Laughter.)
Think about the squirrel. The squirrel exists. The squirrel is consciousness that is pulsing. And the squirrel moves [via] inspiration, as does the sperm or as does the cell in your body. And the broader view of well-being is the source of that inspiration.
You have been in the making long before you physically come forth, but there is not only one avenue for that which is your consciousness to come forth.
You see, Nonphysical understands what we’re trying to get all of you to understand, and that is that thought comes and then the manifestation follows. And so, everything that is manifested is thought that has been thought upon longer.
What is at the heart of your question?
Q: Mm. Well, I don’t have any kids yet and I’m just wondering if there is a nonphysical out there, like, really wanting, I guess, to be born through me.
Abe: Someone assigned to you?
Q: Yes.
Abe: That you might be holding off?
Q: (Laughing.) Possibly.
Abe: Nothing like that. First of all, there is nothing that is assigned. There [are] only individual vibrations that Law of Attraction matches up. So let’s just pretend for a moment that you have been pre-assigned children, and they are impatiently waiting. (Quiet laughter.) Now first of all, where would you find that vibration in Source stream? Because impatience is only a physical human characteristic. So there could be no impatience that is happening.
So let’s just say they are waiting — joyously waiting (laughter) — for their opportunity to come forth, and you are selfishly serving your own purposes. Nothing like that exists because if they are eagerly coming forth, then Law of Attraction matches them with that which matches them.
In other words, you just don’t need to sort these things out. That’s sort of like saying, “I need to understand all of the dynamics of all of the things so that I make sure that I play my part right.” And we say, if you are following your bliss you are playing your part right.
That’s why you don’t find squirrel schools. (Laughter.) Or squirrel religions. “What religion do you go to?” “Oh, we are the Gatherer Of The Nuts First religion.” (Laughter.) “We gather our nuts and wrap them [this way] and bury them for this many days.” You don’t find that among the squirrels. They just follow their bliss and they understand that they are worthy of well-being.
