We would not act until the impulse to act was strong. That’s why we love this vortex conversation. We’d make sure we were in the vortex, and then we’d act. And if we were outside of the vortex, we would not take action.
Some would say, “Well, Abraham, I haven’t been in the vortex in years, but I’ve gotta make the bed, cook food for the kids and go to work. And that’s ALL action.”
And we say, “But it’s not the kind of creative action that we are talking about.”
So the answer is, do whatever you can do, take whatever action is required [to get into the vortex.] Focus wheel is an action, writing things down is an action, an affirmation is an action and we would say making sure your conversation is the way you want it to be, speaking, is an action. In other words, we would do anything and everything we can do to get in the vortex. And then we would let the inspiration take it from there.
It will come in the form of an impulse. In other words, you know the feeling, you just get an idea that you want to do something. It’s an impulse.
“Oh, I want to call that person.” Not, “I NEED to call that person.” “Oh, I want to call that person.” Even the impulse to go get a burger.
An impulse — when you think about it, there’s no resistance in it, so it’s just easy to do. And when you follow those impulses consciously, you’ll notice that everything cooperates with you…
Just follow the impulses. The impulses are there. And you can trust them!
