We would use every trick that we could think of to hold ourselves in the vibration of joyous expectation. You know what that feels like. Esther teases Jerry every now and again. They’ll be outside of a magnificent store, and she’s full of exhiliration for the promise of what it holds inside.
And so, if there is an emotion that you are wanting to foster that would serve you very very well, it is positive expectation, it is excited anticipation. It is that hopeful, desirous… desirous on the expectant side, not on the yearning side. In other words, you have to kind of play with that. You know that feeling that goes from yearning to hoping to expecting to knowing? Well if you were in the knowing place, things would be popping all the time. When you’re in the yearning place, nothing’s happening. When you’re in the hopeful place, more things are happening. When you’re in the expectant place, more things are happening. When you’re in the knowing place, all things happen you see. And so, you follow that range. Many of you yearn, and many of you hope, and many of you expect, and many of you know, and that range varies depending on the topic.
Those things that seem simpler, you know. There’s not one of you that doesn’t know you’ll have lunch today. And so it doesn’t come up. No one raises their hand and says, “Can you help me in my struggle for food?” We’re not having that conversation here, you see. Because there is knowing. And most of you would say “Well I know it because my life experience has proved it to me. I don’t want for that, and so I don’t have a problem with that.” And we say even those things that your life experience hasn’t proven to you, you can bring yourself to that place of knowing with a little bit of practice.
And you don’t have to know 100% of the time. Do you know, 51% of the time would yield you pretty well. Just know or expect a little more than you yearn or doubt, and watch what happens.
